We are relocating to Hawaii and so we are selling our home. This beautiful 30 ft. Pacific yurt (pacificyurts.com) has been our year round residence for the past 3 years here in Hood River, OR. We have loved yurt living and hope to have the experience again in the not too distant future. The yurt was manufactured in September of 2008 and so as of this posting it is not even 3 years old yet. It is in excellent condition. The sale of this yurt includes all decking, flooring, plumbing and supporting structure. The flooring is Douglas fir 2×6 tongue and groove decking that acts as the floor and subfloor over foam board insulation. The tongue and groove has 2 thin coats of an eco protectant. Next is an Empire DV-35-2SG (empirecomfort.com ) propane furnace, propane on demand hot water heater, a Hearthstone soapstone woodstove ( hearthstonestoves.com ) with all the fittings, flashing, and triple-wall stovepipe and support beams. Also included are IKEA kitchen cabinets with a double enamel sink, a GE self-cleaning electric full-size range and a Maytag refrigerator/ freezer. This yurt was designed with lots of extra windows, there are a total of ten, six of which are large picture windows. I also have 3 window insulating panels that I put up for the coldest months of winter that really help keep it warmer without compromising too much light. I proudly boast of remaining toasty warm in some extreme weather conditions, consecutive nights of 7 degree temperatures and 3 ½ feet of snow for over a month. The woodstove is our primary heat source and I usually only use the propane heater as a backup to flash heat or to keep things from freezing up when I am away for more than a day. The yurt was also designed with the wind/snow load package which is an additional feature that is advisable for this area of the country. There is a front door awning for the French doors that is a custom size of 4×8.The side cover is made of an acrylic coated 100% polyester fabric and is a wine color. The top cover is made of a flame retardant vinyl laminate with a 10 year warranty and is a light putty color. I also included the tall walled feature so that I could have the option of having a loft at some point. We will be living in the yurt until it sells so it will be assembled for viewing. Buyer will be responsible for taking down the structure and relocating it. The price for the yurt and all of the above mentioned additions is $19,800 cash, a good deal for a complete home, the price is firm. I have $35,000 invested. I am looking for a buyer with a win/win mentality for an equitable exchange of energy. We are not available to assist with the take down, there is no owner financing available and the land is not part of the sale, nor is it possible to keep the yurt there.(since so many of you are asking) If you are seriously interested( no time wasters please) or would like further information or more pictures, please contact me. Thank you for your inquiry and your mindfulness. Be well
