One of the original settlers of Springfield, Pa, Samuel Hall received 100 acres from William Penn on Feb 23, 1702. Earliest tax record for Hall is 1715. Original newel post railing, random width poplar planks in bedrooms, deep window sills and large hearth in the living room are just some of the features of this wonderful house, tastefully complimented by contemporary styling. Featured on page 87 of "Images of America, Springfield Township".
